Female Physical Education Teacher – British Curriculum

About the role

The Indian Academy Dubai seeks a passionate Female Physical Education Teacher to deliver engaging, age‑appropriate PE lessons within its British Curriculum framework. The successful candidate will inspire students to embrace lifelong fitness, sportsmanship and healthy living while ensuring a safe, inclusive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high‑quality Physical Education lessons aligned with the school curriculum.
• Encourage active participation and develop fundamental movement and sport skills.
• Promote health, fitness, teamwork and positive sportsmanship.
• Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback and support.
• Organise and supervise sports activities, competitions and school events.
• Maintain safety and well‑being of students during all activities.
• Maintain PE equipment and facilities, ensuring safe and effective use.
• Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support students' physical and personal development.
• Contribute to extracurricular programmes and broader school initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Physical Education.
• UAE‑attested educational certificates.
• Minimum two years of UAE school teaching experience in Physical Education.
• Strong classroom management and student engagement abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to create an inclusive, motivating learning environment.
• Preference for candidates on a spouse visa.

Required skills

• First Aid certification (advantageous).
• Coaching or relevant sports certifications (advantageous).
