Female Physical Education Teacher - Maternity Cover - Immediate Start

About the role

Fortes Education is seeking a qualified Female Physical Education Teacher to cover a maternity leave at Regent International School in Dubai. The role starts immediately and is offered on a contract basis, providing continuity for our students’ sport and wellness programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess Physical Education lessons for primary and secondary students in line with the school curriculum.
• Organise and supervise extracurricular sports activities, competitions and events.
• Promote a safe, inclusive and positive learning environment that aligns with the school’s Positive Education ethos.
• Collaborate with colleagues to integrate health, wellbeing and character‑building initiatives into PE sessions.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance and equipment.

Required profile

• Qualified Physical Education teacher with a recognized teaching certification.
• Experience teaching in an international school setting, preferably in the UAE.
• Commitment to fostering resilience, growth mindset and character development in students.
• Ability to work effectively with a diverse student body and staff.

Required skills

• Curriculum planning and delivery for Physical Education.
• Knowledge of sport safety standards and equipment management.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
