Field Services Engineer – Laboratory Diagnostics

About the role

Our client, a leading healthcare and laboratory solutions provider in the UAE, is expanding its service team in Abu Dhabi. They are seeking a Field Services Engineer with strong technical expertise and a customer‑focused mindset to install, maintain and support laboratory diagnostic equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Install, set up and commission laboratory instruments at customer sites.
• Perform routine maintenance, respond to breakdowns and urgent service calls.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software and connectivity issues.
• Train laboratory staff on daily care and basic troubleshooting.
• Keep instruments updated with the latest software and hardware releases.
• Log all service activities and communicate status to customers.
• Plan spare‑parts requirements and use remote/digital tools for proactive support.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical, Electronics or Electrical Engineering.
• 3–5 years of field service experience with laboratory or diagnostic equipment.
• Hands‑on experience with histology or pathology lab equipment, such as staining systems.
• Excellent English, professional demeanor and a valid UAE driving licence.
• Based in Abu Dhabi or able to relocate quickly.
