Field Trainer - Luxury Retail

About the role

Reed Recruitment Middle East is recruiting a Retail Trainer (Luxury Retail) for the UAE. The role sits on the shop floor and ensures that each colleague's Individual Development Plan (IDP) is completed: starting every visit from the agreed development areas, coaching through learn, practice and evaluate, and closing the plan with the Store Manager's feedback recorded in the system.

Key responsibilities

• Start every store visit from the IDPs of the colleagues in that store, prioritised with the Store Manager
• Deliver on-floor training in customer service, selling, product knowledge, systems and standards
• Observe and coach during trading hours, including evenings, weekends and peak times
• Assess how the Store Manager develops their team and give feedback to both parties
• Complete a structured visit and observation report for every store, tracking progress and closing prior actions
• Deliver on-floor onboarding after induction and support new store openings and brand launches
• Spend one day a week at Head Office to consolidate reports, update the platform, plan the route and prepare materials

Required profile

• Five plus years in retail, with at least two on the shop floor in a selling, supervisory or field coach role
• Credible knowledge of a luxury category
• Additional working languages of the floor are a genuine differentiator
• Available for retail hours flexibility and regional rotation
• Valid UAE driving licence (mandatory)
• Desirable: CIPD Level 3, a coaching certification, an ILM train-the-trainer accreditation or equivalent
