Finance Analyst – Hotel Financial Reporting & Analysis

About the role

As a Finance Analyst you will turn numbers into actionable insights that drive the hotel's financial performance. Reporting to the Director of Finance, you will prepare, consolidate and analyse financial and operational reports to support decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare daily, weekly, monthly and ad‑hoc financial and operational reports within deadlines.
• Analyse actual results versus budgets, forecasts and prior periods, providing variance analysis and recommendations.
• Track revenue, expenses, payroll, profitability and key performance indicators, highlighting trends, risks and opportunities.
• Support profit‑and‑loss analysis for departments and the entire hotel.
• Assist with annual budgeting, forecasting and rolling projections.
• Maintain dashboards, financial models, reporting templates and analytical tools.
• Validate data from finance and operational systems, investigate discrepancies and ensure documentation.
• Create presentations, executive summaries and analytical reports for leadership meetings.
• Collaborate with finance and operational teams to obtain accurate information.
• Assist with business cases, scenario analysis, investment evaluations and special projects.

Required profile

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field.
• At least three years of experience in financial reporting, analysis or a similar finance role.
• Strong knowledge of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and performance reporting.
• High level of accuracy, integrity and ability to handle confidential information.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
