Finance Associate - Accounts Payable & Reconciliation

About the role
Axios International is looking for a Finance Associate to join its team in Dubai, reporting to the Group Financial Controller. The role covers Accounts Payable, reconciliation of accounts and the timely posting of transactions. It is based in the regional office and may occasionally involve travel.
Key responsibilities
- Work closely with the operations team and the rest of the finance team to prepare balance sheet reconciliations accurately and on time
- Maintain reconciliations on an ongoing basis with the highest level of accuracy
- Act as cover for other finance team members when they are on leave or when required
- Carry out other ad-hoc tasks that may arise
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
- 4+ years of experience in a busy, demanding and varied finance role
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent command of written and spoken English
- Flexibility to travel and to work different hours
Required skills
- Strong SAP B1 experience
- Excellent MS Office skills
- Attention to detail, organisation and ability to meet tight deadlines
