Finance Business Partner

About the role

This newly created Finance Business Partner position will build and lead the finance function for Elpen MEA in Dubai, supporting the local leadership team and aligning with Group Finance in Athens.

Key responsibilities

• Support the General Manager and leadership with financial insight, business cases, budgeting, rolling forecasts and cash‑flow planning.
• Own monthly closings, Group reporting, internal controls, intercompany reconciliation and transfer‑pricing compliance.
• Manage statutory audit, preparation of financial statements and ensure compliance with UAE corporate tax, VAT, economic substance and payroll requirements.
• Oversee external service providers, receivables, credit exposure, collections, inventory and expiry provisioning.
• Drive finance process improvements and implement automation, digital and AI‑enabled analytical tools.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Business Administration plus a professional qualification (ACCA, ACA, CPA, CMA, CIMA or equivalent).
• 5‑7 years of progressive finance experience, including accounting, reporting, controls and FP&A or business partnering.
• Hands‑on UAE experience with corporate tax, VAT, statutory audit and payroll compliance.
• Ability to operate as a standalone finance function with no direct reports initially.
• Strong communication, stakeholder‑management and integrity; professional fluency in English.
