Finance Executive / Finance Officer

About the role

Al Khalil Group of Companies is urgently looking for a Finance professional to join its team and support daily financial operations in Abu Dhabi. The role involves handling daily finance and accounting transactions, preparing invoices, monitoring accounts payable and receivable, and assisting with monthly closing and financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Handle daily finance and accounting transactions, ensuring accurate recording of all financial activities.
• Prepare invoices, payment requests, receipts, and other financial documents in a timely manner.
• Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable to maintain proper cash flow.
• Prepare and maintain financial records and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Reconcile bank statements and company accounts to verify correctness of balances.
• Monitor payments, expenses, and outstanding balances, identifying any discrepancies.
• Coordinate with suppliers, customers, and internal departments to resolve financial issues.
• Assist with monthly closing and financial reporting, supporting the preparation of statements.
• Maintain accurate finance documentation and filing systems.
• Perform other finance‑related duties as assigned by management.

Required profile

• Hold a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Have previous experience in finance or accounting, preferably with experience in the UAE market.
• Possess good knowledge of MS Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
• Understand UAE VAT regulations and local accounting practices, which is considered an advantage.
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail, accuracy, and good communication and organizational skills.
• Be immediately available to join the team, as the position is urgent.
