Finance Landbank Manager

About the role

The Finance Landbank Manager will oversee all financial transactions, accounting, and budgeting for Dubai Holding Land Estates' extensive land portfolio. This role ensures accurate land bank reconciliation, cost monitoring, and compliance with accounting standards while supporting strategic development aligned with the Dubai 2040 Urban Master Plan.

Key responsibilities

• Review and validate all financial transactions, land bank accounting, and revenue recognition.
• Monitor project budgets, construction costs, capital expenditures and advise on budget availability.
• Maintain land bank reconciliation, track changes in land bank and related GFA, and update financial records.
• Develop and finalize Capex budgets, ensuring data integrity and alignment with Group policies.
• Prepare and submit schedules (IP/PHDS) on time, liaise with auditors and external consultants.
• Analyze project costs, identify impairments, and produce ad‑hoc analyses for decision‑making.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant qualification (CA, ACCA, CPA) or equivalent.
• 5‑7 years of finance experience, including at least 2 years in corporate finance, land banking, budgeting and reporting.
• Strong understanding of real‑estate accounting and relevant regulatory matters.
• Excellent analytical, numerical and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel, including complex data analysis and modeling.
• SQL / database management.
• ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
• Financial modeling, forecasting and variance analysis.
