Finance Manager (Arabic Speaking)

About the role

We are seeking a Finance Manager who is fluent in Arabic to lead the finance function of Dr. Scent in Sharjah. The role involves overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance, and providing strategic support to senior management.

Key responsibilities

• Manage monthly and annual financial closing, prepare financial statements and management reports in accordance with IFRS.
• Prepare the annual budget, financial forecasts and monitor variances against budget.
• Produce weekly and monthly cash‑flow forecasts, monitor bank balances, collections, payments and funding requirements.
• Oversee receivables and payables, coordinate with sales and collection teams, and ensure proper payment authorisations.
• Review inventory valuation, landed cost and product costing, and participate in stock counts.
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT and Corporate Tax, prepare tax returns and coordinate external audits.
• Develop and maintain finance policies, internal controls and ERP access rights.
• Provide profitability, pricing, cost and margin analysis to support management decisions.
• Lead, train and supervise the finance team to meet reporting and payment deadlines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; CMA, ACCA or CPA preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of finance experience, including managerial responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations.
• Proven experience in budgeting, financial reporting and cash‑flow management.
• Experience with ERP systems and inventory costing.
