Finance Manager - Hotel Franchised

About the role

Grand Mercure Business Bay, a 270-room premium hotel in Dubai's Business Bay district, is looking for a Finance Manager. You will safeguard the hotel's financial integrity, lead the finance team toward accurate reporting and cost control, and act as a strategic business partner to the General Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee monthly financial statements, P&L and balance sheet, and lead annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting
• Run monthly variance analysis and provide financial modelling for revenue streams, capex and operational changes
• Maintain internal controls (SOX/Accor audit standards) and implement cost control over F&B, inventory and purchasing
• Approve operational expenditures, manage cash flow, banking and treasury, and liaise with external auditors and tax consultants
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT, Dubai Municipality fees, Tourism Dirham collection and Accor financial policies
• Partner with Sales & Marketing on revenue, channel costs and pricing, and oversee credit control and payroll
• Recruit, train and mentor the finance team, run performance reviews and promote financial awareness across departments

Required profile

• 3-5 years as a Finance Manager or Assistant Finance Manager in UAE hospitality; hotel experience mandatory
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics
• Professional certification (CA, CPA, ACCA or CMA) highly preferred
• Experience with Accor brands is a distinct advantage
