Finance Manager - Hotel

About the role

Hilton is looking for a Finance Manager in Dubai who will act as a trusted advisor to the business and support its finance leader in building a strong finance team. The role works with all stakeholders to ensure robust controls and compliance, maximizes profit for shareholders and owners, and delivers accurate, efficient financial reporting across the hotel portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all financial operations across the hotel portfolio, aligned with strategic goals to optimize profitability and efficiency.
• Direct the preparation of annual plans, projections and budgets, giving financial insight to support business decisions.
• Act as primary financial advisor to hotel management, Area/Cluster General Managers, Owners and Asset Managers, with data-driven recommendations.
• Build partnerships with Hotel Finance, Commercial, IT, Procurement, Human Resources, Operations, Shared Service Centres and Regional Operations Finance.
• Uphold GAAP and hotel policies, safeguarding assets through strong financial controls.
• Oversee systems and processes for accurate, efficient and transparent financial reporting.
• Monitor and approve hotel sales, purchases, salaries and expenses.
• Cultivate a high-performing team through performance management, professional development and recognition.

Required profile

• Master's or bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a related field.
• 3-5 years of finance leadership experience, preferably in hospitality.
• Strong knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and reporting.
• Experience managing financial controls, compliance and audit processes.
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management and business partnering skills.

Required skills

• MS Excel, Word and Outlook; quick learner of new software.
• Analyzing large volumes of complex financial data and producing reports, forecasts and projections.
• Problem-solving, proactive risk identification and staff development.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills at all levels.
