Finance Manager

About the role

The Finance Manager will oversee the financial health of the organization, ensuring legal compliance and supporting growth initiatives. This role involves strategic financial planning, risk evaluation, and close collaboration with multiple departments to achieve monetary goals.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily finance operations including accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and billing.
• Develop and enforce financial policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with department heads to optimize resource allocation.
• Evaluate financial risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Oversee cash flow, petty cash, and liquidity management.
• Prepare monthly and annual financial statements and reports.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities.
• Coordinate with sales, marketing, and operations to support their financial needs.
• Reconcile rental and miscellaneous receipts accurately.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling processes.
• Handle quarterly VAT filings, refunds, and compliance with Federal Tax Authority regulations.
• Monitor budget vs. actual performance and implement cost‑saving measures.
• Ensure compliance with UAE KYC, labor, and other regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and maintain accurate trial balances.
• Manage relationships with banking partners and oversee loan, credit, and guarantee facilities.

Required profile

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• Proven experience in a trading company or strong understanding of trading business financials.
• Demonstrated ability to lead finance teams and manage complex financial operations.
• Knowledge of UAE regulatory, KYC, and labor law requirements.
