Finance Manager

About the role

ABCOM Distribution, a provider of managed audio-visual solutions founded in 2005, is hiring a full-time, on-site Finance Manager in Dubai. The role oversees the financial health and compliance of the organization, covering budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, financial reporting and cost monitoring, and supports management with data-driven recommendations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, manage and develop the accounts team, set priorities and maintain strong internal controls.
• Oversee day-to-day accounting, branch entries, transaction verification and month-end and year-end closing.
• Manage cash flow, working capital, credit control, receivables follow-up, payment planning, accounts payable and receivable, payroll and cost controls.
• Prepare annual budgets and forecasts, track performance against them and report variances.
• Own financial reporting: monthly MIS, brand-level P&L, financial statements, budgets and management insights.
• Source and manage funding, including bank relationships, credit facilities, trade finance (letters of credit, guarantees) and vendor credit lines.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and UAE requirements (VAT, corporate tax, e-invoicing) and coordinate audits.
• Manage the ERP system and liaise with Epicor support; oversee inventory accounting, stock counts, aging and slow-moving stock analysis, and work with purchasing on stock replenishment.
• Budget and track exhibition expenses, and support growth through costing, pricing, margin and investment analysis.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of finance experience, including at least 3 years in a Finance Manager or similar senior role.
• Experience in IT or AV distribution, trading or a related industry in the UAE or GCC is preferred.
• CA qualification preferred; ACCA, CPA or CMA also acceptable.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication and leadership skills, with close attention to detail.

Required skills

• Accounting principles, financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, management reporting and audit preparation.
• ERP systems; Epicor experience is an advantage.
• Working knowledge of UAE or GCC financial regulations, tax requirements and audit standards.
