Finance Manager (UAE-based, UK experience required)

About the role

Sibie Ltd, a healthcare group expanding its services across the UK, Europe, the USA and the Gulf region, is looking for a detail-oriented, strategic Finance Manager based in the UAE. The role oversees the company's financial operations and provides the insight needed to support growth, including its online pharmacy and telehealth services. It suits someone who can combine hands-on financial control with big-picture business partnering.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounting, invoicing, payroll, cash flow and reconciliation of online sales and payment platforms
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and management reports, including multi-entity and multi-currency consolidation
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial planning across departments
• Monitor performance against targets and flag risks or opportunities to leadership
• Ensure compliance with UK financial and tax requirements (HMRC, VAT, PAYE, Corporation Tax, Companies House), UAE Corporate Tax and VAT (Federal Tax Authority), and tax and audit requirements in other markets
• Manage relationships with external auditors, banks, tax advisors and regulatory bodies
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable and working capital
• Support commercial and partnership teams on deal structuring and contract terms
• Maintain financial controls, processes and systems, and provide analysis for decisions such as new market entry and partnerships

Required profile

• 5+ years of finance management experience, ideally in pharmaceutical, healthcare, e-commerce or professional services
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field; ACA, ACCA or CIMA preferred
• Proven UK finance experience, including UK GAAP (FRS 102), IFRS, HMRC, VAT and Corporation Tax compliance; UAE Corporate Tax and VAT knowledge is a plus
• Experience managing budgets, forecasts and financial controls in a growing organisation
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and effective cross-functional communication
