Finance Officer – Asset Manager Services (DFSA & DIFC)

About the role

As a trusted adviser and outsourced DFSA Authorised Finance Officer, you will support a portfolio of regulated and non‑regulated client entities by delivering high‑quality accounting, financial reporting, and outsourced finance services.

Key responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with clients, regulators, auditors, banks and tax advisers, becoming a valued point of contact.
• Oversee preparation and submission of regulatory returns, financial statements, management accounts, budgets and forecasts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Monitor capital adequacy, liquidity and regulatory compliance, providing proactive guidance to clients.
• Calculate and review Net Asset Values (NAVs) in line with client and fund‑specific requirements.
• Lead, coach and support team members, fostering a collaborative, high‑performing environment.

Required profile

• ACCA or ACA qualified, or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting or outsourced finance within financial services, private equity, real estate or corporate sectors.
• Proven experience managing client relationships and overseeing a portfolio of entities.
• Strong people leadership skills with a track record of coaching and developing teams.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of IFRS and statutory financial statements.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience preparing and reviewing management accounts and financial statements.
• Ability to calculate and review Net Asset Values (NAVs).
