Finance Operations Specialist – Part‑time (12‑month FTC)

About the role

Zurich Insurance is seeking a Finance Operations Specialist to support its Middle East commercial insurance business on a part‑time, 12‑month fixed‑term basis. Working 20 hours per week, you will assist the Finance Operations team in day‑to‑day financial processing and reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries in line with local and Group accounting standards.
• Execute accounts receivable and accounts payable transactions.
• Perform general ledger reconciliations and produce related reports.
• Extract and organise data for financial analysis and quarterly/annual filings.
• Carry out ICFR controls and recommend process improvements.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in university or in the final year of a Finance/Insurance‑related degree.
• Completed multiple internships during studies.
• Residency in the UAE with a valid Emirates ID.
• Available to work 20 hours per week.
• Proactive, collaborative and solution‑oriented attitude.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong user of Microsoft Office applications.
