Finance & Procurement Manager

About the role

A leading organization in the energy and electric vehicle (EV) infrastructure sector in the UAE is looking for a Finance & Procurement Manager. The role oversees and supervises all finance transactions of the organization while also managing procurement oversight. It calls for a finance leader with hands-on experience in financial management, reporting and controls, plus a working knowledge of procurement and sourcing.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, accounting, treasury and financial reporting
• Develop and manage annual budgets aligned with strategic and operational objectives
• Ensure accuracy, completeness and compliance of financial statements and reports
• Manage cash flow, liquidity planning and financial forecasting
• Supervise procurement activities and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulations
• Lead contract negotiations with suppliers and service providers to achieve cost efficiency and value
• Monitor expenditures and identify cost-saving and process-improvement opportunities
• Establish, implement and improve financial policies, procedures and internal controls
• Provide financial analysis, insights and reports to senior management

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field
• 7+ years of experience in finance or financial management
• Minimum 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role
• Strong experience in budgeting, financial reporting and financial governance
• Basic to solid knowledge of procurement and contract management processes

Required skills

• Experience using ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle or similar
• Analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills
