Finance & Strategy Associate

About the role

Deliveroo is seeking an Emirati Finance & Strategy Associate to join its Dubai team. You will support data and reporting, manage weekly performance reviews, and conduct variance analysis to help shape the company’s financial strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update performance datasets, ensuring accuracy and consistency across reports.
• Populate weekly business review templates with the latest performance data and draft fact‑based commentary.
• Track actual performance against targets, investigate key variances and summarize findings for Finance & Strategy and UAE leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• Strong numerical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to analyze data, identify trends and explain variances.
• Clear and concise written communication skills.
• Proactive, team‑oriented attitude and ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Google Sheets or Excel, including formulas such as VLOOKUP, SUMIF, COUNTIF.
• Experience with pivot tables and data‑driven problem solving.
