Finance & Tax Intern

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Finance & Tax Intern to join CDhorizon FZE’s finance team in the UAE. The internship provides hands‑on exposure to VAT invoicing, tax compliance and core accounting processes, supporting your development for a career in finance.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the end‑to‑end VAT invoicing process, including issuance, verification and record‑keeping.
• Support preparation of documentation for tax filings and other compliance tasks.
• Help compile basic financial reports and perform data analysis to aid decision‑making.
• Provide documentation and schedule support during the annual audit and internal reviews.
• Carry out ad‑hoc finance and administrative tasks as directed by the finance manager.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in or recent graduate of a Bachelor’s program in Finance, Accounting, Taxation or a related field.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and interest in tax regulations.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP) and overall Microsoft Office suite.
• Familiarity with any accounting software is a plus.
• Meticulous, proactive, strong communication skills and able to work full‑time (5 days/week) for at least 3 months.
• Must hold a freelance, spouse or parent visa.
