About the role
We are seeking a Financial Associate to support our client’s finance team on a contract basis. Working remotely, you will manage financial records, reconcile transactions, and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions promptly.
- Assist with month‑end and year‑end close, including journal entries and reconciliations.
- Prepare financial reports and statements for internal and regulatory use.
- Monitor financial controls and suggest improvements for efficiency and compliance.
Required profile
- Experience with general ledger accounting and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Excel for data analysis.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of GAAP or IFRS standards (preferred).
