Financial Controller (FP&A to Finance & Accounting)

About the role

Edenred UAE, a fast-growing payroll service provider for more than 15,000 businesses and 2.2 million employees, is hiring a Financial Controller. Reporting to the Head of Finance and Operations, you will first lead the FP&A function, covering for the FP&A Manager during maternity leave, then move into the Financial Controller role, owning the Finance & Accounting function and leading the team toward accurate reporting, strong governance and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• FP&A: prepare monthly income reports and P&L reviews with variance analysis, lead annual budgeting, bi-annual forecasting and 3-year strategic planning, review monthly capex for intangible assets, and build executive financial presentations
• Support sales commissions, partner with business units on financial insights, and drive continuous improvement of FP&A processes and dashboards using Power BI
• Oversee financial accounting operations, month-end, quarter-end and year-end closes, and the annual external and internal audit processes
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, local statutory requirements and corporate governance, and maintain internal controls and financial policies
• Validate tax entries and disclosures, maintain accurate accounting records, and lead VAT return preparation and filing

Required profile

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related discipline
• Professional qualification such as ACCA, ACA, CIMA or CPA preferred
• 7-10 years of FP&A experience in corporate or commercial finance
• Experience in fintech, payments, financial services, technology or multinationals is advantageous
• Fluent English
