Financial Controller

About the role

We are seeking a full-time Financial Controller to lead day-to-day financial operations at our Dubai office. The role will ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance with UAE and international regulations, and provide analysis to support strategic decisions in a fast-moving telecom technology environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage general ledger, month-end and year-end closing, and preparation of financial statements.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, treasury and cash-flow management.
• Ensure compliance with UAE corporate tax, VAT, IFRS and both mainland and offshore entity structures.
• Coordinate audits, internal controls and liaison with external auditors, banks and regulatory bodies.
• Support commercial decisions, contract reviews and business expansion initiatives.
• Handle multi-country operations, cross-border transactions and international taxation matters.

Required profile

• 10+ years of finance and accounting experience, including at least 5 years in a Finance Controller or similar leadership role.
• Professional qualification such as CA, ACCA, CPA, CMA or ACA.
• Strong knowledge of UAE corporate tax, VAT, IFRS and mainland/offshore structures.
• Experience with multi-country operations, cross-border transactions and international tax.
• Understanding of African tax regulations (VAT/GST, withholding taxes) across key markets.
• Prior experience in telecom, technology, cybersecurity or ICT sectors is preferred.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management abilities.
