About the role

The Financial Controller leads the finance function, ensuring accurate reporting, robust budgeting, and compliance with regulations. This senior executive position drives financial stability and supports strategic growth initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
• Prepare and present accurate financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
• Monitor budget performance, implement cost‑control measures, and analyse variances.
• Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard assets and support audit activities.
• Manage cash flow, liquidity, banking relationships, and treasury functions.
• Oversee implementation and optimisation of financial systems and software.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability.
• Provide financial insights for strategic planning, project evaluation, and investment decisions.
• Coordinate tax planning, filing, and compliance to optimise the company’s tax position.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required).
Proven experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and internal controls (senior‑level preferred).
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards and regulatory compliance.
• Experience managing cash flow, treasury, and tax compliance.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop finance teams.
