Financial Controller

About the role

AirQo is looking for a hands‑on Financial Controller to own day‑to‑day finance operations, cash‑flow management, management reporting, financial controls and statutory coordination. The role is focused on practical execution rather than large‑team corporate management.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain daily visibility of bank and cash balances and produce a rolling 13‑week cash‑flow forecast.
• Own the monthly and annual financial close, reviewing journal entries, accruals, depreciation and provisions.
• Perform bank, supplier, customer and balance‑sheet reconciliations and ensure accurate records in Odoo.
• Prepare monthly P&L, balance‑sheet and cash‑flow reports, weekly finance dashboards and annual budgets.
• Analyse performance against forecasts, explain variances and support decisions with financial models.
• Monitor accounts receivable, payable, working‑capital metrics and coordinate with Commercial, Supply Chain, Operations and HR for reliable forecasts.

Required profile

• At least 6 years of finance experience (72 months) with a hands‑on approach.
• Comfortable working directly with financial data, reviewing accounting entries and producing clear reports.
• Ability to identify liquidity risks and escalate material forecast variances promptly.
