Financial Reporting Accountant

About the role

Nexus Solutions is looking for a Financial Reporting Accountant to own and execute core accounting operations, keeping financial records accurate, reconciliations disciplined and reporting timely. The role applies sound judgment to maintain data integrity and supports scalable operations as the business grows.

Key responsibilities

• Support external reporting and technical accounting compliance; prepare month-end reconciliations, schedules and records
• Maintain structured trackers and files across multiple entities, and reflect invoices, expenses and payments in internal records
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations, variance analysis and explain variances
• Manage accounts receivable: billing, invoicing, AR aging, collections follow-up, revenue recognition and clean, auditable records
• Track retainer-based client accounts, time usage, costs and third-party spend, and prepare client-level profitability views
• Handle accounts payable and spend management, accruals for unbilled services and cost allocation
• Assist with crypto payment records, trade validation, FX impacts, AML bot scans and wallet monitoring, and manage corporate treasury and controls
• Ensure IFRS and internal standards compliance, support tax reporting, prepare audit schedules and escalate control gaps

Required profile

• Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CA, CPA, CIMA or equivalent)
• 5+ years of total accounting experience, including at least 2+ years at a Senior Accountant level in a multi-entity or international environment
• Strong experience with high-volume reconciliations and month-end close
• Proven AR, AP, accrual accounting and financial reporting experience
• Ability to prepare a complete set of IFRS financial statements independently
• Nice to have: Big 4 audit experience, multi-entity accounting experience, iGaming or B2B aggregator experience, Sage and Zoho experience

• Experience reconciling or assisting with corporate crypto operations
