FinOps Expert / Solution Architect

About the role

Euro Mechanical is seeking a FinOps Expert / Solution Architect to own and evolve its Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations and D365 Sales platforms. The role is fully remote and works closely with Finance, Procurement, Projects, Operations and Commercial teams based in Abu Dhabi.

Key responsibilities

• Provide L1/L2 support for D365 F&O (Finance, SCM, Projects) and D365 Sales, ensuring quick resolution and clear guidance for users.
• Manage the ticket lifecycle, coordinate L3 escalations with third‑party vendors, and oversee incident and problem management.
• Lead controlled changes and releases, including impact assessment, testing, release readiness and post‑release validation.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications, user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Build internal D365 capability through training, documentation and a network of Champions and super‑users.
• Govern access and licence usage, aligning permissions to job needs and optimizing licence costs.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience with D365 Finance & Operations covering Finance, Project Management & Accounting, and Supply Chain Management.
• Experience with D365 Sales (CRM) including lead and opportunity pipeline management.
• Background as a Techno‑Functional Lead, Functional Consultant or Solution Architect.
• Proven ability to manage external vendors and SLA‑based support.
• Strong communication and documentation skills for both business and technical audiences.

• D365 Sales configuration, workflows and functional support.
• Lifecycle Services (LCS) and Azure DevOps for structured release management.
• Dynamics 365 licensing governance and cost optimisation.
