Fircosoft Screening Specialist (Optimisation & Tuning)

About the role

Capitex is partnering with leading financial institutions and consultancies across the UK and Middle East on financial crime transformation projects. It is looking for experienced Fircosoft Screening Specialists to support system tuning, optimisation and effectiveness reviews across sanctions and name screening platforms, working on-site in Dubai.

Key responsibilities

• Tune and optimise Fircosoft screening systems
• Review and improve screening rules, thresholds and scenarios
• Reduce false positives while keeping regulatory compliance
• Run effectiveness tests and validate screening controls
• Support model governance and documentation in line with regulatory expectations
• Analyse screening outputs and recommend improvements to detection logic
• Work with stakeholders across compliance, technology and operations
• Contribute to ongoing financial crime transformation programmes

Required profile

• Proven experience with Fircosoft solutions such as Firco Continuity, Firco Trust and Firco Screening
• Strong understanding of sanctions and name screening frameworks
• Experience reducing alert volumes while keeping risk sensitivity
• Solid knowledge of AML and financial crime regulations and best practice
• Experience in banking or financial services
• Prior consulting or project-based experience

• Exposure to regulatory reviews, audits or model validation
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
