Fleet Incharge – Logistics Operations Leader

About the role

The Fleet Incharge is responsible for the efficient, safe and cost‑effective operation of Al Mulla Group’s vehicle fleet in Fujairah. This strategic role ensures fleet performance aligns with company goals, regulatory standards and service level agreements.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the full lifecycle of the fleet, from acquisition to disposal.
• Develop and enforce preventive maintenance schedules to maximise vehicle availability.
• Monitor and analyse performance metrics such as fuel consumption, utilisation, mileage and downtime.
• Ensure compliance with local, state and federal vehicle safety, emissions and driver‑hours regulations.
• Coordinate with maintenance vendors and internal technicians to resolve mechanical issues promptly.
• Manage driver assignments, performance tracking and training programmes.
• Implement fuel‑management strategies to reduce waste and control costs.
• Maintain accurate fleet records, including logs, repair histories, insurance and licensing.
• Collaborate with operations, dispatch and procurement teams to align fleet capacity with delivery demand.
• Utilise fleet management software and telematics systems to monitor real‑time data and generate actionable reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Automotive Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in fleet operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Proven expertise in fleet maintenance planning, vehicle lifecycle management and regulatory compliance.
• Relevant certification in fleet management (e.g., CFM, CFP) is highly desirable.

Required skills

• Experience with fleet management software.
• Familiarity with telematics systems for real‑time vehicle monitoring.
