About the role
Le Café LPM, a neighbourhood café in Dubai serving all-day dining, croissants, grilled fish and spritzes, is looking for a Floor Manager. The manager coordinates the team, owns the guest experience and makes sure every shift runs smoothly, from the first cover to the last goodbye.
Key responsibilities
- Handle guest concerns calmly, turn situations around and follow up on feedback without being asked
- Brief, train and motivate the team daily, keeping energy high and standards consistent
- Ensure the team knows the menu, drinks and the story behind what is served
- Oversee the full floor, coordinating with kitchen and bar and managing service flow
- Check mise en place, table settings, cleanliness, shift planning and brand presentation before guests arrive
- Solve problems quickly and know when to escalate
Required profile
- 1-2 years in a supervisory or front-of-house managerial role in a premium or high-volume restaurant
- English is a must; French or another European language, or Arabic, is even better
