Floral Operations Supervisor

About the role

The Floral Operations Supervisor will support the Assistant Manager – Floral in delivering high‑quality flower arrangements and ensuring smooth daily operations within the resort’s floral department. This role requires hands‑on management, inventory control, and team leadership in a fast‑paced, multicultural environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Assistant Manager – Floral in all phases of floral activities and obtain approval for major changes.
• Act on behalf of the Assistant Manager during their absence, ensuring continuity of service.
• Check daily flower conditions in the front area and refresh arrangements as needed.
• Maintain quality standards and cost control for all flower arrangements.
• Store and stock fresh flowers and accessories properly to preserve condition.
• Supervise daily operations of the floral department, including team performance.
• Conduct regular inventory of flowers, vases, and accessories and report irregularities.
• Suggest operational improvements and implement approved changes.
• Train and supervise team members, fostering team spirit and high arranging standards.
• Ensure team grooming complies with Wynn Al Marjan Island standards.
• Promote a safe work environment and monitor health‑and‑safety standards.
• Participate actively in the hotel recycling program, encouraging reduction, reuse, and recycling.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years experience in a 5‑star integrated hotel/resort, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Commercial floral experience preferred; experience with large events, weddings, and shows is a plus.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Familiarity with Western, Asian, and Middle Eastern flower design.
• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Presentable, strong communicator with proven leadership abilities.
• Proactive, creative, innovative, and physically fit.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
