Food and Beverage Attendant

About the role

Join the Mercure Abu Dhabi Downtown team as a Food and Beverage Attendant, delivering warm, professional service to guests in a fast‑paced hotel environment. You will be the front‑line ambassador of the outlet, ensuring every guest experience is memorable.

Key responsibilities

• Provide friendly, engaging service to all guests, consistently following outlet policies and service standards.
• Maintain full knowledge of menu items, beverage lists, promotions, and preparation methods to assist guests effectively.
• Handle food and beverage safely, adhering to all sanitation and safety policies.
• Prepare and present orders accurately, manage cash and non‑cash transactions, and follow end‑of‑shift reporting procedures.
• Attend pre‑meal briefings and regular meetings to continuously improve guest experience.
• Ensure proper linen count and perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Fluent in English; Arabic is an asset.
• Highly responsible, reliable, and able to work well under pressure.
• Team‑oriented with strong interpersonal and problem‑solving skills.

Required skills

• Micros point‑of‑sale system (training provided if needed).
