Food & Beverage Captain

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Food & Beverage Captain to join our team at Rose Rayhaan by Rotana in Dubai. The Captain will deliver professional, guest‑focused service, ensuring every stay becomes a memorable experience.

Key responsibilities

• Execute all food and beverage service tasks in line with the hotel’s performance standards.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of the outlet’s menu to advise and upsell guests.
• Handle customer enquiries and complaints promptly and satisfactorily.
• Prepare the outlet for service and supervise smooth operations throughout the shift.
• Lead and coach the service team, ensuring duties are performed to standard.
• Oversee stock control, record beverage inventory, and minimise waste, breakage and spoilage.
• Apply upselling techniques to exceed guest expectations and drive revenue.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or a related field.
• Maximum two years’ experience in a similar food‑and‑beverage role, with some supervisory exposure.
• Strong command of written and spoken English.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced, multicultural environment.

Required skills

• Familiarity with the Micros point‑of‑sale system.
