Food & Beverage Intern – Hotel Operations

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Food & Beverage Intern to join the F&B team at Novotel & Ibis Abu Dhabi Gate Hotels. This role offers hands‑on experience in hotel food and beverage operations, supporting both service and banquet functions.

Key responsibilities

• Report for duty punctually in the correct uniform with name badge and palm pin.
• Assist in setting up and breaking down function rooms, including table settings and equipment preparation.
• Perform side‑duties and checklist tasks, ensuring equipment is maintained and service areas are clean, safe and secured.
• Handle cashiering and beverage dispensing as assigned by Banquet Management.
• Attend to guest requests, complaints and on‑site changes in a courteous manner.
• Report any deviations, incidents or irregularities to management.
• Support other F&B outlets during peak periods and carry out additional duties as directed.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Hotel Management, Tourism or a related field.
• Average proficiency in reading, writing and speaking English.
• Well‑presented and professionally groomed at all times.
