Food & Beverage Supervisor for French Brasserie

About the role

The Food & Beverage Supervisor will support the Assistant Restaurant General Manager in delivering exceptional service at Couqley French Brasserie, a premium‑casual venue in Downtown Dubai. You will ensure smooth daily operations, uphold high service standards, and create memorable guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily restaurant operations, including table settings, ambience, and service flow.
• Conduct pre‑service briefings covering reservations, VIP guests, menu updates and special requests.
• Coordinate with kitchen, sommelier, reservations and other departments to ensure seamless service.
• Allocate sections, manage staffing levels during service, and oversee opening, closing and side duties.
• Monitor compliance with food safety, hygiene, sanitation and occupational health & safety standards.
• Assist with inventory checks, stock requisitions and beverage control.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Food & Beverage Service or a related field (preferred).
• 2–3 years of experience in food and beverage operations, preferably in a luxury hotel or fine‑dining restaurant.
• Previous supervisory experience in French cuisine or upscale dining is an advantage.
• Excellent verbal communication in English; French language skills are a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with POS systems and restaurant reservation/billing procedures.
• Strong knowledge of fine‑dining service standards, food presentation and wine service.
