Food & Beverage Supervisor – Luxury Resort Dubai

About the role

The Food & Beverage Supervisor will support the F&B Manager in delivering exceptional dining experiences at Meliá Desert Palm, a luxury urban resort in Dubai. You will lead daily operations across multiple venues, ensuring service excellence and guest satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day operations of all food and beverage outlets.
• Maintain high service standards and ensure compliance with hygiene and safety regulations.
• Motivate, train and develop a diverse team of front‑of‑house staff.
• Handle guest inquiries and resolve service issues promptly.
• Coordinate staffing schedules, including shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Monitor inventory, control costs and support budgeting activities.
• Collaborate with the F&B Manager on menu planning and special events.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of supervisory experience in food & beverage, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort.
• High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality qualifications are a plus.
• Strong knowledge of restaurant operations and guest experience management.
• Excellent communication, problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
• Professional appearance, high attention to detail and a hands‑on attitude.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with restaurant management systems such as MICROS or POS platforms.
