Food & Beverage Waiter/Waitress – Full-Time

About the role

We are looking for a friendly and professional Food & Beverage Waiter/Waitress to join our team at Novotel Hotels in Dubai. In this full‑time position you will deliver efficient service to guests, ensuring a memorable dining experience while upholding our standards of hospitality and sustainability.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly, present menus and take accurate food and beverage orders.
• Serve meals and drinks promptly, check on guests regularly to ensure satisfaction.
• Input orders into the POS system accurately and coordinate with kitchen and bar teams.
• Prepare tables (mise en place), keep the service area clean and organized, and reset tables efficiently after guests leave.
• Communicate special requests and dietary requirements, recommend menu items, specials and promotions, and encourage upselling.
• Present bills, process cash and card payments responsibly, and adhere to HACCP food safety and health regulations.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth operations, especially during busy periods.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a waiter/waitress in a hotel, restaurant or similar hospitality setting (preferred).
• Good command of English; additional languages are a plus.
• Positive attitude, professional appearance and strong customer‑service orientation.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, multicultural environment and handle flexible shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Team player with effective communication skills.
