Foreman - Civil (Bridge Maintenance Project)

About the role

Supervise and coordinate daily civil works related to bridge construction, maintenance, and rehabilitation activities. Lead site workers and ensure work is carried out safely, efficiently, and according to project requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Execute and monitor bridge-related activities including concrete works, structural repairs, formwork, reinforcement works, waterproofing, and general civil maintenance.
• Allocate manpower, tools, and materials to ensure smooth execution of daily activities.
• Read and interpret construction drawings, method statements, and work instructions.
• Coordinate with Site Engineers, Project Engineers, and subcontractors to achieve project targets.
• Monitor workmanship and ensure all works meet approved quality standards.
• Conduct regular site checks, report progress, issues, and requirements to the Site Engineer.
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) requirements and maintain proper housekeeping.
• Maintain daily records of manpower, work progress, and site activities.

Required profile

• Technical qualification or Diploma in Civil Engineering or relevant trade qualification.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Civil Foreman in bridge construction, maintenance, or infrastructure projects in the UAE.
• Hands‑on experience with concrete repairs, structural works, reinforcement, formwork, and maintenance activities.
• Valid UAE Manual Driving License.
• Strong knowledge of bridge construction and maintenance activities.
