Foreman – ELV & Fire Alarm Systems

About the role

The Foreman will lead a team of ELV and Fire Alarm technicians, overseeing preventive, corrective and emergency maintenance for fire alarm, SMATV, CCTV, intercom and related low‑voltage systems. The role ensures system reliability, compliance with civil defence regulations and timely response to client needs.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily activities of ELV and fire alarm technicians, allocate tasks and monitor progress.
• Lead preventive and corrective maintenance of fire alarm panels, detectors, sounders and associated devices.
• Coordinate civil defence inspections, close remarks and maintain compliance documentation.
• Oversee maintenance of SMATV, CCTV, intercom, access control and low‑voltage distribution systems.
• Respond to critical breakdowns, diagnose complex failures and manage emergency service calls.
• Conduct quality inspections, verify KPI/SLA performance and ensure proper documentation.
• Interact with client representatives, attend meetings and provide technical updates.

Required profile

• Diploma in Electronics, Electrical Engineering or related field; certifications in fire alarm and ELV systems preferred.
• Minimum 10 years experience in fire alarm and ELV systems, with at least 3 years in a supervisory/foreman role.
• Experience in UAE/GCC facilities management and in commercial, residential or government projects.
• Professional certifications such as Fire Alarm System Certification, Civil Defence Approved Technician, NFPA Awareness, IOSH Managing Safely, NEBOSH IGC (preferred) and First Aid.
