About the role
The Metal Department Foreman will lead daily operations within the metal fabrication area, ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, and to quality standards. This onsite position is based in Umm Al Quwain and reports to senior management.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily metal department activities.
- Allocate tasks to workers and manage manpower efficiently.
- Monitor work progress, enforce quality standards, and address any issues promptly.
- Ensure all activities comply with workplace safety procedures and are completed on schedule.
- Coordinate with management and other departments to align resources and timelines.
- Handle tools, materials, and equipment to support smooth operations.
Required profile
- Relevant experience as a foreman in a metal fabrication environment.
- Strong leadership and communication abilities.
- Capability to manage a team, meet deadlines, and maintain safety standards.
- Knowledge of workplace safety procedures.
