Forward Deployed Engineer – AI Agent Orchestration

About the role

As a Forward Deployed Engineer at spiderSilk, you will act as the bridge between customers and Silkrunner, the company’s AI agent orchestration platform. You will work on‑site with enterprise and government clients to translate their business processes into structured AI agent workflows and deliver clear implementation plans.

Key responsibilities

• Embed with customers to discover, scope and structure automation use cases across functions such as procurement, HR, legal and security operations.
• Translate business processes into agent workflows on Silkrunner, identifying steps that can be offloaded to AI agents.
• Deliver implementation plans and configure agent solutions through to production, meeting tight delivery milestones.
• Provide field feedback to influence the Silkrunner product roadmap.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a forward‑deployed, solution engineering or implementation consulting role delivering tangible outcomes for customers.
• Strong understanding of enterprise business processes and ability to work with senior stakeholders.
• Technical depth to design agent workflows and collaborate credibly with engineering teams.

Required skills

• Experience with large language models (LLMs) and agentic systems, including prompt design and multi‑agent workflows.
• Hands‑on knowledge of platforms such as Palantir, Oracle, SAP, Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics.
