Founding Relationship Manager - Private Banking

About the role

Yestella Academy, a free financial-education programme, is building a wealth-management service delivered through licensed partners. It is looking for a Founding Relationship Manager in Dubai to look after a small number of internationally mobile families, from the first conversation through onboarding and regular reviews. The role is measured on understanding, suitability and conduct rather than product sales.

Key responsibilities

• Look after a small number of internationally mobile families, from first contact through onboarding and regular reviews.
• Explain allocation, risk, liquidity and cost in plain language.
• Work with investment and compliance colleagues and with the partner firm.
• Help shape the client journey, the review process and the Yestella Academy.
• Build relationships in your market with relocation lawyers, tax advisers, schools and banks.

Required profile

• Demonstrable client-facing experience in private banking, wealth management or a family office, ideally with internationally mobile clients.
• Professional fluency in English; Arabic, Russian or Hindi is an advantage.
• Sound judgement on suitability, conflicts and conduct, and a clean regulatory record.
• Visa through the UAE-licensed employing entity or partner when the role starts.

Required skills

• Relevant DFSA/ADGM/SCA experience; knowledge of the CISI UAE Financial Rules & Regulations is an advantage.
• Certification or registration would be handled by the licensed firm giving advice; the employer supports study and exam costs.
