Freelance Design Strategist / Graphic Designer

About the role

We are partnering with a leading experience design agency in Dubai to hire a Freelance Design Strategist / Graphic Designer. The role blends strategic thinking with high‑level visual design to shape the creative direction, mood and overall look of immersive luxury and hospitality projects, from concept through to client presentation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop creative concepts, visual narratives and design directions based on client briefs.
• Create pitch decks, mood boards and visual presentations that convey the project’s vision and atmosphere.
• Design visual identity and creative direction for large‑scale events, hospitality experiences, exhibitions and luxury activations.
• Produce high‑quality presentation materials for internal teams and clients.
• Collaborate with creative teams to shape guest journeys and immersive experiences.
• Translate strategic ideas into visual storytelling across digital and physical environments.
• Maintain the highest standards of design, craftsmanship and attention to detail.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Design Strategist, Graphic Designer, Experience Designer or similar role.
• Portfolio demonstrating large‑scale design work for events, hospitality, luxury brands, exhibitions or premium private functions.
• Advanced proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Experience creating client pitch decks, concept presentations and mood boards.
• Strong understanding of layout, typography, composition and branding.
• Ability to take a project from brief to polished presentation.
• Experience in fast‑paced creative agencies or event environments.
• Excellent communication and confident presentation skills.
• Based in Dubai and available for freelance/project work.
