Freelance PR & Communications Consultant for B2B Fintech in GCC

About the role

We are seeking an experienced freelance PR and communications consultant to lead earned‑media and event‑PR activities for a cloud‑native core‑banking SaaS provider. The focus is on the Gulf Cooperation Council, with the United Arab Emirates as the primary market and Saudi Arabia as secondary.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute proactive media relations campaigns to secure tier‑1 and trade coverage in Gulf business and fintech outlets.
• Craft executive thought‑leadership content, including bylines, op‑eds, and speaking opportunities.
• Provide event‑PR support for 1–2 flagship fintech/BFSI events each quarter (e.g., LEAP, Seamless Middle East, Fintech Abu Dhabi, BFSI summits).
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align messaging with product and market strategy.

Required profile

• Senior‑level freelance PR professional with a proven track record in GCC media.
• Current experience working with UAE and/or Saudi Arabian media contacts.
• Fluency in English; Arabic proficiency strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with B2B fintech, SaaS, and financial services sectors.
