Front Desk Agent - Arabic Speaker

About the role

Fairmont Bab Al Bahr, a five-star beachfront luxury hotel at the gateway of Abu Dhabi, is looking for a Front Desk Agent who speaks Arabic. The agent delivers exceptional guest service through smooth check-in and check-out procedures, handles guest inquiries and creates memorable experiences that reflect the standards of a luxury hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and professionally, perform accurate check-in and check-out, and escort VIP guests on arrival and departure
• Provide information on facilities, services, local attractions, transport and dining, and verify reservations and registration details
• Assign rooms according to guest preferences, handle upgrades, special requests and changes, and maintain guest profiles in the Property Management System
• Liaise with Housekeeping, Concierge, Engineering, Security and other departments, and respond promptly to guest requests and complaints
• Process payments, deposits, billing adjustments and foreign currency transactions, balance cash floats and complete daily financial reports
• Maintain confidentiality of guest information and follow up on guest feedback

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, Business Administration or a related field
• Previous experience in Front Office, Guest Services or Reception in a luxury hotel is preferred
• Excellent spoken and written English and Arabic; additional languages are an advantage

Required skills

• Knowledge of Opera PMS or similar hotel management systems
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Professionalism, attention to detail and excellent communication skills
