Front Desk Associate

About the role

The Front Desk Associate is the first point of contact for members and guests at a gym in Dubai, creating a welcoming and professional environment. The role covers membership inquiries, check-ins, payments and general customer satisfaction. It is a full-time position.

Key responsibilities

• Greet members and guests professionally and assist with check-ins, registration and guest passes
• Answer calls and handle questions about memberships, class schedules and facility services
• Resolve customer concerns, escalating issues to management when needed
• Explain membership plans, promotions and fitness programmes, and process new memberships, renewals and cancellations
• Handle billing, payments and account updates, and promote personal training, classes and retail products
• Keep the front desk tidy, monitor access so only authorised members enter, and help schedule classes and personal training appointments
• Keep accurate records of attendance, memberships and daily transactions
• Ensure compliance with gym policies and safety rules, report maintenance or safety issues, and support special events and promotions

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in hospitality or business is a plus
• Previous experience in customer service, front desk operations or the fitness industry is preferred
• A passion for health, fitness and wellness is a plus

Required skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic computer skills; experience with gym management software is a plus
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
