About the role
The Front Office Manager assists in overseeing front office functions, supervising staff across Bell/Door, Switchboard, and Guest Services/Front Desk areas, ensuring efficient check‑in/check‑out processes and high guest satisfaction.
Key responsibilities
- Manage day‑to‑day front office operations, maintaining quality standards and meeting customer expectations.
- Supervise staffing levels, handle guest complaints, and ensure financial objectives are achieved.
- Lead and coach the front desk team, fostering a collaborative environment and acting as a role model.
- Implement customer service programs, train staff on credit policies, and oversee shift operations.
- Support HR activities including hiring, orientation, performance feedback, and disciplinary procedures.
Required profile
- High school diploma or GED with at least 2 years of guest services/front desk experience, OR a 2‑year degree in Hospitality, Business Administration or related field.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to resolve conflicts and drive continuous improvement.
