About the role
As the first and last point of contact for guests, the Front Office Receptionist creates a welcoming and seamless arrival and departure experience while delivering professional front desk services.
Key responsibilities
- Process check‑in and check‑out procedures, manage room assignments and handle cash and credit card transactions.
- Respond to guest inquiries, resolve concerns, answer telephone calls and coordinate with other hotel departments.
Required profile
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Previous experience in front office, reception, cashiering, customer service or hospitality preferred.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Property Management Systems (PMS).
- Strong customer service and guest relations abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Ability to handle guest complaints professionally and efficiently.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions.
- Capability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment and work flexible shifts, weekends, holidays and overnight schedules.
