Frontend Engineer

About the role

Thales is seeking a Frontend Engineer to create rich, responsive user experiences for its defence and security solutions. The role involves collaborating with product, UX/UI, and backend teams to deliver high‑performance web applications using modern technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement UI components with React.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
• Optimize components for performance across diverse browsers and devices.
• Lead the development of new features, identify bottlenecks, and resolve bugs.
• Integrate front‑end solutions with RESTful APIs and real‑time data streams.
• Stay updated on React ecosystem advancements and apply best practices.

Required profile

• 4–7 years of professional front‑end development experience.
• Strong understanding of core JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5 and CSS3.
• Proficiency with React tools, bundlers (Webpack or Vite) and state‑management (Redux or Context API).
• Experience with Git version control and collaborative development workflows.
