Full-Stack Developer (Intermediate & Senior)

About the role

Sumara Technology is looking for a full-stack developer to join a small team that builds front-end and back-end solutions using new technologies and architectures. The role suits someone with experience building products across the stack and a solid grasp of web frameworks, APIs, databases and multiple back-end languages. The position is remote, based in the UAE, with a UK client and UK working hours, and Sumara will arrange a UAE visa and work permit.

Key responsibilities

• Build highly scalable distributed solutions that deliver good user experiences and measurable business growth.
• Develop new features and infrastructure to meet emerging business and project needs.
• Lead new projects from concept through to deployment.
• Maintain application performance, uptime and scale, and uphold high standards of code quality and design.
• Work in agile teams, taking part in design, implementation and deployment.
• Architect and guide the build of end-to-end systems optimised for speed and scale.
• Collaborate with designers, front-end and back-end engineers to create reliable APIs and backend systems.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• Experience with AWS cloud and databases (SQL and DynamoDB).
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD tools and agile workflows.
• Willingness to work with a UK client and align working hours accordingly.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of React, TypeScript and modern JavaScript.
• Strong knowledge of Node.js and serverless.
• SQL and DynamoDB.
